Job Overview:
The Corporate Alliance Officer will work under the general supervision of the Partnership Specialist to develop, manage, and evaluate non-financial partnerships with the corporate community in Guinea. This role involves piloting innovative solutions for program delivery, setting the child rights agenda in policy and advocacy, and enhancing UNICEF's credibility as a technical expert in child rights and responsible business. The officer will also provide technical input aligned with UNICEF's strategic framework on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and manage programmatic alliances with national CSR-related agencies, including business industry champions and the Companies Commission of Guinea.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Corporate Relations/Partnership Management (40%): Identify and scope potential corporate partners aligned with Guinea Country Office program priorities, develop MOUs and program concept notes, and manage corporate partnerships effectively. Build capacity among corporate partners regarding Children’s Rights and Business Principles.
  • Internal Corporate Engagement Liaison and Documentation (25%): Track internal needs for corporate engagement initiatives, facilitate documentation of best practices in CSR and children’s rights, and develop documentation that contributes to UNICEF's engagement.
  • Advocacy and Technical Inputs on CSR (20%): Advocate for CSR implementation in line with UNICEF’s strategic framework, engage with government and industry bodies, and manage strategic alliances with the National CSR Hub.
  • Developing the Guinea CSR Strategy (10%): Create a strategy that serves as an advocacy tool for achieving programmatic results, ensuring timely execution and follow-up.
  • Participate in office-wide initiatives and events (5%).

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree in relevant disciplines such as Development, Marketing, Economics, CSR, Communication, or Business Administration. They should have sound knowledge of corporate partnership management, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability.

Educational Background:
A university degree in one or more relevant fields is required, including Development, Marketing, Economics, CSR, Communication, or Business Administration.

Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in consulting or program development, particularly focusing on CSR, Corporate Partnerships, Fundraising, Marketing, or Communication activities is required.

Languages:
Fluency in written and spoken French is mandatory, while English language skills are considered an asset.
