Job Overview:
The Cloud Platform Engineer position is a critical role within the Information Management Services Section of the ICC, specifically under the Division of Judicial Services. The incumbent will be responsible for deploying and managing the Court's resources in a Microsoft cloud environment, primarily focusing on Microsoft Azure and potentially other cloud platforms. This role is pivotal in supporting the Court's digital transformation initiatives, enhancing cloud productivity, and ensuring the efficient operation of cloud-based solutions. The engineer will work closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement best practices in information management and technology services, contributing to the overall strategic objectives of the Court.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Cloud Platform Engineer will perform a variety of duties including but not limited to: deploying and managing cloud resources in Microsoft Azure and other platforms; supporting the development of solutions leveraging Microsoft innovative services; driving digital transformation initiatives; making recommendations to improve business processes through cloud architectures; preparing comprehensive documentation for various audiences; training technical support staff; and assisting with daily support and maintenance activities related to cloud solutions. The engineer will also be expected to perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, ensuring alignment with the Court's operational goals.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree in Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Alternatively, a first-level university degree combined with two additional years of qualifying experience will be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree. The position requires a minimum of seven years of progressive experience in cloud platform management, with at least five years specifically in Azure IaaS components. Knowledge of infrastructure as code, cloud DevOps practices, and experience with enterprise-level applications are essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are also required.

Educational Background:
An advanced university degree in Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is required for this position. Candidates with a first-level university degree and additional qualifying experience may also be considered. The educational background should provide a solid foundation in technical concepts and practices relevant to cloud computing and information management.

Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years of relevant experience in cloud platform management, with at least five years focused on Azure IaaS components. Experience with AWS cloud platforms is desirable. Candidates should have a proven track record of supporting and troubleshooting complex enterprise-level applications and managing cloud infrastructure. Familiarity with traditional and cloud infrastructure architecting is also beneficial.

Languages:
Proficiency in one of the working languages of the Court, either French or English, is required. A working knowledge of the other language is considered an asset. Additionally, knowledge of another official language of the Court, such as Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish, would be advantageous.

Additional Notes:
This position is a Short-Term Appointment, which is intended to meet short-term needs within the organization. The contract duration is to be confirmed, but it will not exceed 12 months, and there is no expectation of renewal. The minimum net annual salary for this position is €91,36
