Job Overview:
The position of Registry within the ICC is crucial for the effective functioning of the court's information management services. The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the Director of the Division of Judicial Services, ensuring that the Registry implements adequate information management services that benefit all organs and activities of the Court. The role involves developing policies and best practices for managing digital documents, records, and archives, as well as providing library services and knowledge management. The position also includes responsibilities related to information systems support, technology services operations, and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">information security activities. The successful candidate will be expected to provide strategic input and support for continuous change management processes, ensuring that the Court's information practices and technologies are innovative and effective.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for planning and coordinating systems and data administration services. This includes technical and back-end administration of various systems and applications such as JWP, SAP, SharePoint, and others. The role involves managing data services related to file and print servers, encryption, and backup, as well as overseeing database management services to optimize the performance of back-end databases. The incumbent will prepare technical documentation and procedures to support applications, make recommendations for improving business processes, and execute strategies for server farm and virtualization environments. Training and developing technical support staff will also be part of the responsibilities, along with researching system and data management solutions with external suppliers. The incumbent will be responsible for database administration, ERP technical administration, global system management services, backup, storage management, and server management, while also performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree in Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Alternatively, a first-level university degree combined with two additional years of qualifying experience is acceptable. A minimum of seven years of progressive experience in preparing technical scopes of work for infrastructure or technology-related services is required, with five years of experience acceptable if the candidate holds an advanced degree. Experience in applying formal IT management frameworks such as ITIL or COBIT is mandatory, while certification in implementing systems according to formal architecture design frameworks like TOGAF or MODAF is desired. Additionally, candidates should have experience with project management frameworks such as PRINCE2 or PMI, and experience in architecting infrastructure solutions is essential.

Educational Background:
An advanced university degree in Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is required for this position. Candidates with a first-level university degree may be considered if they have two additional years of qualifying experience. This educational background is critical for understanding the complexities of information management and technology services that the ICC requires.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of seven years of progressive experience in the field of information technology management. Candidates with an advanced university degree may qualify with five years of experience. This experience should include preparing technical scopes of work, evaluating proposals, managing contracts and vendors, and demonstrating professional responsibility in information technology management. Experience with formal IT management frameworks and project management frameworks is also essential, as is experience in architecting infrastructure solutions and managing information technology solutions.

Languages:
Proficiency in one of the working languages of the Court, either French or English, is required. A working knowledge of the other language is considered an asset. Additionally, knowledge of another official language of the Court, such as Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish, would be advantageous and considered an asset for the position.

Additional Notes:
This position is a Short-Term Appointment, which is used to meet short-term needs within the organization. The duration of the assignment is to be confirmed, but it cannot exceed 12 months, including any extensions. The ICC reserves the right to appoint at a lower grade than stated in the vacancy with a modified job description. The selected candidate will be subject to a Personnel Security Clearance process, which includes verification of the information provided and a criminal record check.
