Job Posting Organization:
Solidarités International (SI) is an international humanitarian aid organization that has been providing assistance to populations affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters for over 40 years. The organization focuses on meeting vital needs such as access to water, food, and shelter. SI is particularly dedicated to combating diseases related to unsafe water, which is the leading cause of mortality worldwide. The organization operates in approximately twenty countries and employs around 2000 individuals, including expatriates, national staff, permanent headquarters staff, and a few volunteers. SI's teams work with professionalism and commitment while respecting local cultures.

Job Overview:
The position of Coordinateur/trice Finance - RH is crucial for the operational support staff (OSS) team within Solidarités International. The OSS team is designed to provide strategic coverage and technical support to existing missions, as well as to assist in the opening of new missions. The role involves being deployed for missions lasting from three weeks to three months, depending on the needs and priorities of the organization. The Coordinateur/trice will be responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative services of the mission, ensuring compliance with SI procedures, donor regulations, and local laws. This position serves as a key link between the headquarters and the field missions, particularly in matters related to management, accounting, and budget monitoring.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Coordinateur/trice Finance - RH will have a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to: conducting socio-economic context analysis, managing human resources for both expatriate and national staff, overseeing team management, and ensuring financial, accounting, and budgetary management. The role also includes administrative management of the mission, cash management, and reporting/communication. The individual will supervise the financial team and coordinate with managers responsible for administration and finances at the country level. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to various operational contexts.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a degree in financial management, human resources, or a related field from a reputable business school. A significant professional experience of over one year in a similar role, preferably with Solidarités International or another NGO, is required. The candidate should have strong technical skills in financial management and human resources, as well as experience in managing multicultural teams. Proficiency in financial software such as SAGA and Homere is essential, along with excellent Excel skills.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a degree in financial management, human resources, or a related field from a recognized institution. Candidates with a background in business administration or related disciplines will also be considered. The emphasis is on having a solid understanding of financial principles and human resource management practices.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have at least one year of significant professional experience in a finance and HR coordination role, ideally within the humanitarian sector or with an NGO. Experience in managing financial operations in challenging environments is highly valued, as is familiarity with the specific challenges faced in humanitarian missions.

Languages:
Fluency in French and English is mandatory for this position, as these are the primary languages of communication within the organization and in the field. Knowledge of Spanish is considered an asset and would be beneficial for missions in Spanish-speaking countries.

Additional Notes:
This is a short-term expatriate contract, specifically a maternity leave replacement. The salary is based on the expatriate salary scale, starting from 2600 euros per month, with additional benefits including five weeks of paid leave per year and one day off for each weekend spent in the field. Health insurance and repatriation coverage are fully provided. The position allows for flexible location arrangements, either within metropolitan France or abroad, outside of deployment periods. Candidates are encouraged to submit both a CV and a cover letter, as applications containing only a CV will not be considered. Solidarités International reserves the right to close the recruitment process before the deadline if suitable candidates are found.
