Job Overview:
The Associate Senior Delivery Officer role at the World Bank is designed to enhance the effectiveness of operations through strategic advisory, user engagement, and technology enablement. The Regional Partner will work closely with task teams and regional leadership to identify operational challenges and technology needs, facilitating informed decision-making around digital adoption and process efficiency. Duties and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Regional Partner include serving as a trusted advisor to task teams and regional management on operational technology needs, analyzing end-to-end business processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and digital enablement, and providing strategic guidance on how digital solutions can support evolving operational requirements. The role also involves partnering with product managers to design and evolve digital platforms, acting as a bridge between regional business teams and central product development teams, and ensuring alignment between operational policies and technical implementation. Additionally, the Regional Partner will define key performance indicators for innovative initiatives, document lessons learned, and contribute to the Bank’s knowledge base.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in computer science or a related STEM field with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in computer science with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience includes development or multilateral operations, technology advisory, consulting, digital transformation, and field program implementation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with familiarity with the World Bank’s operations and governance. Multilingual capabilities and certifications in relevant methodologies such as SAFe Agilist or Digital Transformation are preferred.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Master’s degree in computer science or a related STEM field, or a Bachelor’s degree in computer science with significant relevant experience. This educational foundation is critical for understanding the complex technological and operational challenges faced by the World Bank and its partners.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience for candidates with a Master’s degree, or at least 10 years for those with a Bachelor’s degree. Experience should encompass development or multilateral operations, technology advisory, and digital transformation initiatives. Familiarity with the World Bank’s operational frameworks and experience in field-embedded roles are highly valued, as they demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with country teams and task teams in the region.

Languages:
