The internship duration is initially set for three months, with the possibility of extension to six months, starting as early as February 1, 2027.
Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will be responsible for a range of duties that support the objectives of the OCSS. These include:
Assisting in the preparation of the weekly newsletter and other communications to ensure effective dissemination of information.
Collecting, analyzing, and visualizing both quantitative and qualitative data to support decision-making processes.
Updating online platforms with relevant information related to staff engagement activities to enhance communication and participation.
Supporting change management initiatives aimed at fostering a positive organizational culture.
Coordinating and assisting with specific events that promote collaboration and engagement within the Peace and Security Pillar.
Performing other ad hoc duties as required to support the team and its objectives.
Required Qualifications: Applicants must meet one of the following criteria: (a) be currently enrolled in or have completed a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or (b) be enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). While professional work experience is not required for this internship, candidates should have a field of study closely related to the internship role. Proficiency in standard software applications, particularly MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams, is essential. Additionally, the ability to design surveys and polls is considered a desirable skill.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess a relevant educational background that aligns with the internship's focus. This includes being enrolled in or having completed a graduate or undergraduate degree programme. The specific field of study should ideally relate to programme management, international relations, or a similar discipline that supports the functions of the internship.
