Job Overview: The ServiceNow HR & Workplace Developer position is designed for individuals who are eager to configure, develop, and enhance solutions within the ServiceNow platform, specifically focusing on HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Employee Center, and Workplace Service Delivery. This role requires collaboration with experienced ServiceNow engineers and business stakeholders to transform requirements into effective, user-friendly solutions. The developer will be responsible for building and maintaining workflows, catalog items, and various scripts, as well as supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, employee services, and room booking functionalities. The position also involves creating and maintaining knowledge articles, reports, and documentation, while continuously testing and improving ServiceNow solutions to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of ServiceNow configuration and development, along with a keen interest in advancing their career within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the ServiceNow HR & Workplace Developer include: configuring and enhancing ServiceNow HRSD, Employee Center, and Workplace solutions; building and maintaining workflows, catalog items, flows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts; supporting onboarding, offboarding, employee services, and desk and room booking; creating and maintaining knowledge articles, reports, dashboards, and documentation; testing, troubleshooting, and continuously improving ServiceNow solutions; supporting integrations, FSM, and other ServiceNow modules as required; and working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver practical solutions that meet their needs.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the ServiceNow HR & Workplace Developer position should possess basic hands-on experience with ServiceNow or relevant project/internship experience. A fundamental understanding of ServiceNow configuration and development principles is essential, along with basic JavaScript knowledge. Familiarity with workflows, automation, and troubleshooting is also important. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are required, as well as a genuine interest in developing a career in ServiceNow. Additional qualifications that are nice to have include basic data analysis skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of ITIL or incident/change processes.
