Job Overview:
The Corporate Services Senior Associate/Associate position is designed for an innovative, analytical, and client-focused individual who will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the Bank's travel program. This role involves analyzing travel data, managing supplier relations, and supporting travel technology initiatives. The successful candidate will work within the Travel, security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security, and General Services Group (TSG) and will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and service excellence in the Bank's travel services. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying trends and opportunities in travel services, contributing to strategic decisions, and enhancing the overall traveler experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Corporate Services Senior Associate/Associate include:
  • Analyzing travel data and preparing regular and ad hoc reports to support decision-making and monitor travel activity.
  • Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities in travel services, focusing on cost savings, service quality, and traveler experience.
  • Evaluating travel technology solutions and recommending improvements to enhance the travel program and data visibility.
  • Coordinating travel transformation initiatives by collaborating with internal teams and external partners to improve processes and service delivery.
  • Contributing to the development of travel strategies and policies using data insights and industry best practices.
  • Supporting supplier relationships and contract processes to ensure high-quality travel services and operational effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality and Tourism Management, International Business, or a related field. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field combined with additional years of experience may be considered equivalent. The position requires a minimum of 2-3 years of experience with a Master's degree or 6 years with a Bachelor's degree in the corporate travel industry, including experience in travel operations, supplier coordination, and data analysis. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of travel technology and process improvement initiatives.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Hospitality and Tourism Management, or International Business. In cases where a Master's degree is not held, a Bachelor's degree combined with significant relevant experience will be accepted as equivalent. This educational foundation is essential for understanding the complexities of corporate travel management and the associated analytical tasks.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have at least 2-3 years of progressive experience in the corporate travel industry if they hold a Master's degree, or 6 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree. Candidates with 10 or more years of experience are preferred. This experience should encompass travel operations, supplier coordination, contract support, reporting, data analysis, and travel technology or process improvement initiatives, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the corporate travel landscape.

Languages:
Proficiency in both Spanish and English, spoken and written, is mandatory for this position. Additionally, knowledge of French and Portuguese is considered a valuable asset, enhancing communication capabilities within the diverse environment of the IDB Group.

Additional Notes:
The position is offered as an international staff contract for an initial duration of 36 months, with the possibility of renewal upon mutual agreement.
