Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent's duties include providing subject-matter advice on sustainment in joint operations, drafting detailed sustainment schemes based on adversary doctrine, leading a team of sustainment experts during exercises, and providing internal training to the OPFOR Branch. Additionally, the expert will attend workshops to maintain up-to-date knowledge and establish a liaison network with other subject-matter experts, particularly within the NATO Command Structure. The role requires a proactive approach to ensure high-quality support to the JWC and its training audiences, necessitating excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess higher secondary education with completed vocational training in logistics planning, economics, or related fields, along with three years of relevant experience. Alternatively, candidates with secondary education and advanced vocational training leading to professional accreditation must have five years of related experience. A strong understanding of adversaries' sustainment capabilities, particularly regarding Russia, is essential. Candidates should also demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.

Educational Background:
The educational requirements for this position include higher secondary education and completed vocational training in logistics planning, economics, or acquisition fields. Candidates with secondary education and advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification are also eligible, provided they have the requisite years of experience in related fields.

Experience:
A minimum of three years of experience in sustainment planning within a joint operational environment is required. Candidates should have demonstrated knowledge of adversaries' sustainment capabilities, particularly those of Russia, and experience in exercise planning or production is highly desirable. Previous work in a red team or opposing forces team is also beneficial.

Languages:
The mandatory language for this position is English at an upper-intermediate level. Additionally, knowledge of Russian at an intermediate level (SLP 2222) is desirable, particularly for understanding adversarial contexts and communications.

Additional Notes:
This position is a full-time role with a three-year definite duration contract. The starting salary is NOK 75,465.00 per month, which is tax-free, with potential additional allowances based on personal circumstances. The work environment is primarily office-based, but travel for temporary duty may be required for conferences. Irregular working hours may also be necessary, especially during exercises or events.
