Job Overview:
The Senior Deltek Costpoint Administrator is a Principal-level ERP professional responsible for the administration, optimization, and ongoing support of the Deltek Costpoint environment. This role requires a blend of functional and technical expertise, ensuring that the system is configured effectively to meet business needs. The administrator will manage system security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security, user accounts, and permissions while providing technical support across core Costpoint modules such as Accounting, Project Management, and Materials. The position involves supporting implementations, upgrades, and data migrations, as well as developing custom components to enhance system functionality. The administrator will also serve as the primary liaison with Deltek Support for any issues related to defects, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring that the system operates smoothly and efficiently.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of progressive IT/ERP systems support experience. This includes at least 8 years of administering Deltek Costpoint with a deep understanding of core modules and Extensibility Designer functionality. Deltek certifications are preferred. Candidates should demonstrate proven experience in leading or supporting ERP implementations and stabilization phases, as well as a strong understanding of Costpoint's operations and data schema. Analytical skills are essential for interpreting complex data and managing system transitions effectively.
Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Additional experience may substitute for a degree, but candidates should have substantial knowledge and expertise in ERP systems, particularly Deltek Costpoint.
Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT/ERP systems support, with at least 8 years specifically focused on administering Deltek Costpoint. - Develop and configure custom Costpoint components to align with business requirements and drive process improvements.
- Act as the primary point of contact with Deltek Support for defects, upgrades, and enhancements, creating test plans and performing regression testing prior to production deployment.
- Monitor scheduled batch/process management jobs for daily, weekly, and month-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
- Document procedures and configurations, providing technical guidance and training to users during and after system changes.
- Research system capabilities to identify opportunities for process improvements.
