Job Overview:
The Head of Fellowship Programming at WWF is a pivotal role that involves designing and leading the experiences that bring the Boundless Fellowship to life. This Fellowship is aimed at cultivating a new generation of leaders dedicated to protecting the world’s most vital ecosystems. The position emphasizes experiential learning, mentorship, and creative collaboration, supporting early- and mid-career conservationists from around the globe. The role is centered on guiding accomplished Fellows through transformative encounters, fostering trust across cultures, and nurturing a community that lasts beyond the program. The Head of Fellowship Experience will be responsible for shaping and facilitating key experiences, including in-person 'Encounters' in significant landscapes such as the Amazon and the Northern Great Plains, as well as virtual conversations that maintain connections among a geographically diverse cohort. This position is ideal for a skilled facilitator who is passionate about guiding others through reflection, challenge, and growth, helping Fellows to connect with each other, mentors, and vital ecosystems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Head of Fellowship Programming include designing and leading immersive Boundless Encounters that integrate leadership, ecology, and community. The role also involves curating virtual sessions that foster curiosity, creativity, and a sense of belonging among Fellows between in-person gatherings. The individual will serve as a trusted mentor and guide, supporting Fellows through the various stages of their journeys with the Boundless Fellowship. Additionally, the Head of Fellowship Programming will nurture a vibrant alumni network, ensuring that it continues to grow as former Fellows become mentors and collaborators for future cohorts. Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess key competencies such as big-picture thinking, which allows them to see how every conversation and learning moment contributes to the Fellowship's larger narrative of transformation. Cross-cultural communication skills are essential for listening and fostering understanding across diverse languages and identities. The ability to collaborate and build community is crucial for creating trusting environments where Fellows feel valued and empowered. Creativity is necessary for designing experiences that inspire imagination and boldness. Adaptability and learning agility are also important, enabling the individual to remain grounded amidst changing plans and to find meaning in uncertainty.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree is required, along with a minimum of 8 years of general professional experience in conservation, social impact, or related fields. This experience must include at least 3 years in leadership development, facilitation, mentorship, education, or program management. Candidates should have a proven track record in designing and delivering leadership programs for accomplished professionals.

Experience:
The position requires significant experience, specifically in designing, facilitating, and delivering highly visible leadership programs. Experience in building and maintaining active networks, such as fellowship or alumni communities, is highly valued. Additionally, experience working with diverse communities and in cross-cultural environments is strongly preferred, highlighting the importance of inclusivity in the role.

Languages:
Advanced proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly desirable, as these languages will enhance communication and collaboration with a diverse group of Fellows. Proficiency in English is mandatory, given the organization's operational language.
