Job Overview:
The IT Solutions Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the IT Officer and the Social Protection Programme Officer in the development and optimization of various Management Information System (MIS) modules related to the MCBP and VWB programs. This position requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including government ministries and technical teams, to ensure the effective implementation of IT solutions that enhance the delivery of social protection services. The assistant will be responsible for system development, performance monitoring, and ensuring compliance with data protection policies. The role also involves capacity building within the DWA MIS Unit, ensuring that the team is equipped to maintain and update the MIS as required. The IT Solutions Assistant will contribute to the continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and support the integration of systems across various government entities, thereby enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of social protection programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The IT Solutions Assistant will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Collaborating with the MIS Officer to design and develop various MIS modules for MCBP and VWB.
• Participating in performance monitoring and capacity planning of integrated solutions.
• Providing technical expertise in reviewing deployed solutions and recommending changes for improved system performance.
• Developing software to implement IT solution architecture and comply with corporate IT recommendations.
• Maintaining continuous improvement and deployment infrastructure.
• Creating an inspiring team environment with open communication.
• Ensuring continuous data entry of new beneficiaries' information in the MIS.
• Assisting in providing MIS support for monthly payments via G2P for beneficiaries.
• Supporting coordination with the Finance Division for timely payment processes. 1
• Collaborating with relevant authorities on integration and server-related matters. 1
• Ensuring compliance with data protection policies and maintaining data confidentiality and security. 1
• Transferring skills and knowledge to the DWA MIS Unit for effective system maintenance. 1
• Facilitating the integration process of MIS with relevant stakeholders. 1
• Performing any other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of overall experience in designing and developing software solutions or in relevant fields is required. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies, particularly in the context of social protection programs. Additionally, candidates should have experience working with cloud infrastructure and a good understanding of financial management systems.

Educational Background:
The position requires a completion of a university degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field. This educational background is essential for understanding the technical aspects of software development and system integration necessary for the role.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in designing and developing software solutions. This experience should include hands-on involvement in large-scale software development projects, ideally within the context of social protection or similar programs. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and software development life cycles is also highly desirable.

Languages:
Fluency in both spoken and written English and Bangla is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset but is not required.

This position is a Service Contract with a duration of 12 months, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
