Job Overview: The position of Consultant for the Preparation of ERCE 2025 Results Reports involves supporting the Latin American Laboratory for Assessment and Quality of Education (LLECE) in generating reports for Central American and Caribbean countries. Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant will have a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities, including:
Supporting the process of delivering results from the ERCE 2025 evaluation by reviewing and developing regional and national reports on learning outcomes, associated factors, socio-emotional skills, and writing.
Collaborating with other consultants to ensure consistency in the application of criteria during the reporting process.
Creating various products and reports for different audiences, including decision-makers, to enhance communication and dissemination of ERCE results.
Providing technical support to the LLECE team for the development, publication, and dissemination of regional and national reports on curricular analysis.
Coordinating the review and feedback process for reports, ensuring alignment with communication strategies.
Assisting in the implementation of a regional initiative to study best practices in outstanding educational centers, including coordinating visits and analyzing findings.
Participating in regular coordination meetings and contributing to collaborative efforts with the LLECE team and other stakeholders.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree (equivalent to a Master's) in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Educational Policy, or a related field. Additionally, they should have at least 8 years of demonstrated professional experience in educational evaluation, including experience in the preparation and publication of national and international reports. Experience in project management and coordination at both national and international levels is essential. Familiarity with international educational evaluation frameworks and comparative studies such as ERCE and PISA will be highly valued.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a postgraduate degree, which can be a Master's degree or an equivalent qualification in relevant fields such as Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, or Educational Policy.
