They will also be tasked with facilitating workshops and training sessions for judicial staff to ensure that new procedures are understood and implemented effectively. Additionally, the consultant will prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations, and will be expected to present these findings to the Ministry of Justice and other relevant stakeholders. Ongoing support and guidance will be provided to the Ministry throughout the implementation phase to ensure that changes are sustainable and effective. The consultant may also be involved in monitoring and evaluating the impact of the new procedures over time, making adjustments as necessary based on feedback and observed outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong background in law, public administration, or a related field, with a deep understanding of judicial processes and legal frameworks. Proven experience in consulting or advisory roles within the public sector, particularly in the context of judicial reform, is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, and excellent communication skills are essential. Candidates should also demonstrate a commitment to promoting justice and the rule of law, as well as an understanding of the socio-political context of Tunisia.
Educational Background:
A minimum of a Master's degree in Law, Public Administration, or a related field is required. Additional certifications or training in judicial reform, public policy, or governance will be considered an asset. Experience:
Candidates should have at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of law or public administration, with a focus on judicial processes and reform. Experience working with government agencies, international organizations, or NGOs in a consulting capacity is highly valued. Familiarity with the Tunisian legal system and previous work in the region will be advantageous.
Languages:
Fluency in both French and Arabic is mandatory, as these are the primary languages used in the Tunisian judicial system. Proficiency in English is considered a strong asset, as it may facilitate communication with international stakeholders and access to global best practices in judicial reform.
Additional Notes:
This position is offered as an individual contractor role for a duration of 5 months. The consultant will be expected to work full-time and may need to travel within Tunisia as required.
