Job Overview:
The position of Werkstudent*in in the Institutional Donor Relations Unit involves supporting the organization in managing relationships with institutional donors. This role is designed for students currently enrolled in a university or college, allowing them to gain practical experience while continuing their studies. The successful candidate will engage in tasks that include assisting with grant applications and reporting, translating donor-related documents, and managing project submissions in donor portals. The position is part-time, requiring 20 hours of work per week, and offers flexibility to accommodate the candidate's academic commitments. The role also emphasizes the importance of organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while being a reliable team player.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Werkstudent*in include:
  • Supporting the preparation of grant applications and reports primarily for German institutional donors.
  • Translating donor-related documents between German and English/French.
  • Inputting project documentation into institutional donor portals.
  • Assisting in the maintenance and provision of information on the organization's intranet (Office 365).
  • Conducting research on various relevant topics to support the team's objectives.
  • Creating and managing Excel spreadsheets for data organization.
  • Aiding in the development of processes to enhance internal coordination.
  • Supporting data management, digitalization, and process automation efforts.
  • Preparing reports and briefings for both internal and external use.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be currently enrolled as students at a university or college. They should have a strong interest in development policy issues and possess excellent editorial skills with a confident writing style in both German and English. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high organizational diligence and accuracy in their work, along with a responsible, independent, and proactive approach. Strong communication and coordination skills are essential, as well as a high degree of reliability and transparency in collaboration. Teamwork is crucial, and proficiency in MS Office is required.

Educational Background:
The position requires candidates to be enrolled in a higher education institution, pursuing a degree that aligns with the responsibilities of the role. Experience:
