Job Overview: The Responsable Logistique & Moyens Généraux leads one of the services within the Logistics & Information Systems Directorate of Solidarités International. As a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), the individual contributes to defining strategic orientations and participates in the management of the organization. The main missions include defining and piloting the service strategy, developing the logistics and general means expertise of the organization, providing technical support to country offices, managing the General Services at headquarters, and representing Solidarités International in partnerships and collaborations. The role requires a strategic vision combined with operational realities, ensuring that the logistics and general means services align with the organization's objectives and operational needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Define and pilot the service strategy: Establish strategic orientations and priorities for the Logistics & General Means service in alignment with the objectives of the Logistics & Information Systems Directorate. Participate in strategic decision-making and manage relevant strategic projects.
Develop logistics and general means expertise: Ensure policies, standards, procedures, tools, and methods are in place for vehicle fleet management, equipment management, energy, buildings, and general services. Monitor innovations and best practices in the sector and support the transformation of logistics practices.
Support country offices: Provide technical support to country offices, ensuring teams have the necessary policies, tools, and assistance for their activities. Address complex issues and contribute to the harmonization and continuous improvement of logistics practices.
Manage General Services at headquarters: Ensure the smooth operation of General Services at headquarters, providing a safe and functional work environment. Oversee the dedicated team, manage service providers and contracts, and support infrastructure improvement projects.
Manage and develop the service: Lead a multidisciplinary team, set priorities, support skill development, and foster cooperation among team members. Promote a team dynamic that encourages responsibility, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Represent Solidarités International: Act as a representative of Solidarités International to partners, humanitarian networks, donors, and specialized working groups. Develop technical collaborations and contribute to the organization's cross-cutting projects and the visibility of its logistics expertise.
Required Qualifications:
Higher education degree (Bac+4/+5) in Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent field.
At least 3 years of experience in a humanitarian context, including some field experience and emergency contexts, in logistics coordination roles.
Experience at the headquarters of an international NGO, including management or coordination of a service or cross-cutting projects.
Proven experience in team management and leading strategic or transformation projects.
Experience in multicultural environments and international organizations.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess a higher education degree (Bac+4/+5) in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. This educational background is essential to ensure the candidate has the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for the role.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a humanitarian context, with a portion of that experience in field operations and emergency situations. Experience in coordinating logistics functions and managing teams is crucial, as well as familiarity with the operations of international NGOs.
Languages: Fluency in French and English is mandatory, both written and spoken. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset but is not required.
Additional Notes: The position is based at the headquarters of Solidarités International in Clichy, with occasional travel required. It is a permanent contract (CDI) with a managerial status. The gross monthly salary ranges from €3,842 to €4,001, depending on the salary scale and the candidate's experience. There is a possibility of teleworking 4 to 12 days per month, according to the telework charter in effect and the manager's approval. Employees are entitled to 2.0833 vacation days per month and 1 RTT day for each full month worked. The organization provides health insurance (80% coverage), meal vouchers (60% coverage), and transportation costs for Île-de-France (50% coverage). Additionally, recovery days and full medical coverage during field missions are provided.
