Job Overview:
The Requirements Performance Manager position at SHAPE is integral to the Strategic Development of Forces Division (SDF), which focuses on the development, generation, and readiness of NATO forces. The role involves coordinating and synchronizing issues related to force capabilities and readiness, ensuring that NATO forces are prepared to meet operational demands. The incumbent will serve as the primary interface between SHAPE and various NATO commands, particularly in relation to Integrated Air & Missile Defence (IAMD) systems. This position requires a deep understanding of operational requirements and the ability to translate these into actionable plans for resource allocation and performance management. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall performance management system within NATO, ensuring that all operational requirements are met and that systems are maintained to the highest standards of interoperability and effectiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent's duties include acting as the principal interface between SHAPE and Air Command Ramstein, capturing IAMD requirements, contributing to the ACO Performance Management System, monitoring and analyzing performance and technical availability of assigned units, supporting technical evaluations, ensuring compliance with military requirements, providing inputs for management of NATO IAMD systems, and managing records of system deficiencies. The role also involves making recommendations for modifications and improvements, conducting evaluations as needed, and ensuring that all activities align with NATO's strategic objectives. The incumbent may also be required to undertake deployments in support of military operations and exercises, and perform similar duties elsewhere within the organization at the same grade.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess experience in Integrated Air & Missile Defence (IAMD) systems, including operational, technical, or engineering roles. They should have experience with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to performance monitoring. A university degree with two years of function-related experience, or higher secondary education with advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification and four years of post-related experience is required. Candidates must also demonstrate comprehensive operational and technical knowledge of NATO IAMD systems and financial principles, as well as the ability to maintain knowledge of Command and Control logistics.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a university degree in a relevant field, or higher secondary education complemented by advanced vocational training that leads to a professional qualification. The educational qualifications must be accompanied by relevant experience in the field, with a preference for candidates who have specialized training or certifications related to Integrated Air & Missile Defence systems.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in roles related to Integrated Air & Missile Defence systems. This experience should encompass operational, technical, or engineering aspects, with a strong emphasis on performance monitoring and management. Candidates with additional experience in NATO operations or related military environments will be preferred, particularly those who have demonstrated the ability to work effectively within multinational teams.

Languages:
Proficiency in English is mandatory, with a requirement for SLP 3333 (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing). Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset, particularly those relevant to NATO member states, but English remains the primary language for this position.

Additional Notes:
The successful candidate will be appointed as a Project Linked NATO International Civilian (PLN) with a three-year definite duration contract under the NATO 2030 Agenda. The salary will be based on the NATO Grade of the post, with potential allowances based on eligibility. The position is full-time, and candidates must be nationals from one of the 32 NATO member states.
