Job Overview: The IDB Group is seeking an active undergraduate student for a paid internship opportunity as part of the 2027 Winter Internship Program. This program is designed for university students from member countries to gain insights into development work and corporate management within the Bank. The intern will be involved in user-centered design for systems and applications, creating intuitive and accessible designs that enhance user experience. Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will be responsible for designing user-centered interfaces for SEC-developed systems and applications, ensuring clarity and usability in web platforms. Key tasks include producing UX and UI design assets such as wireframes, mockups, and visual components to support new features and system enhancements. The intern will also create visual and multimedia materials, including graphics and infographics, to improve system communications and user onboarding experiences. Additionally, the intern will maintain and update existing designs to ensure consistency with SEC branding and design standards. Collaboration with product owners, developers, and communications teams is essential to effectively address user needs and iterate designs based on feedback. The intern will also support the development of user-friendly toolkits and reference resources, focusing on usability and visual clarity.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must be active undergraduate students enrolled in a relevant program such as Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, or Interaction Design at an accredited university. The graduation date must be after the internship period, ensuring that students are able to complete the program without academic conflicts. Applicants should possess fluency in English and ideally have a working knowledge of another Bank language, such as Spanish, French, or Portuguese.
