Job Overview: The Investment Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the structuring, negotiation, approval, and closing of infrastructure projects within the Infrastructure & Energy Division. This position requires a proactive approach to deal origination and execution, where the associate will assist senior team members in identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities. The role involves conducting thorough due diligence, preparing transaction documents, and ensuring compliance with IDB Invest standards. Duties and Responsibilities: The Investment Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, business administration, or economics. A Master's degree or MBA is considered a plus. Additionally, candidates should have at least two years of relevant professional experience in analysis and loan origination, particularly in structuring complex finance transactions or financial analysis. A validated track record of working with a broad range of financial instruments and products, including equity and mezzanine, is essential. Strong client relationship skills and experience in a similar role within an investment or advisory firm, bank, or infrastructure company are highly valued.
Educational Background: The educational requirements for this position include a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or economics. A Master's degree or MBA is advantageous and may enhance a candidate's application.

Additional Notes: This position is a national staff contract with an initial duration of 36 months, which is renewable upon mutual agreement.
