Job Overview:
The IDB Group is seeking an active undergraduate student for a paid internship opportunity as part of the 2027 Winter Internship Program. This program is designed for university students from member countries to gain insights into development work and corporate management within the Bank. Interns will engage in hands-on learning experiences that will enhance their professional skills. The role involves supporting AI initiatives, validating data accuracy, and optimizing knowledge bases, as well as planning and executing networking activities to foster connections among new hires. Interns will also provide logistical support for onboarding events and create training materials to ensure a high-quality onboarding experience for new employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will be responsible for a variety of tasks including validating data accuracy related to AI initiatives, testing user workflows, and optimizing knowledge bases. They will plan and execute both virtual and in-person networking activities aimed at fostering connections among new hires. Additionally, interns will provide logistical and operational support for onboarding events and orientation sessions, ensuring that all activities run smoothly. They will design and deliver 'Train the Trainer' sessions for onboarding facilitators to maintain consistency and quality in program execution. Furthermore, interns will develop and maintain orientation guides, toolkits, and reference materials that will be published on the New Hire Intranet, ensuring that all resources are up-to-date and accessible.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be active undergraduate students enrolled in a relevant program such as Human Resources, communications, journalism, international relations, social sciences, or related fields from an accredited university. The graduation date must be after the internship period. Additionally, applicants must be nationals of an IDB member country and should not have family members working at the IDB or IDB Invest. This internship is intended for first-time participants in the IDB's Internship Program, and candidates must not have been former staff members or contractors for the Bank or Corporation.

Educational Background:
The position requires candidates to be active undergraduate students, meaning they must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at an accredited university. It is essential that the graduation date is set for after the internship period, ensuring that students are able to commit fully to the internship without conflicting academic obligations.

Experience:
While specific prior work experience is not mandated, candidates should demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Experience in relevant fields through coursework, projects, or previous internships will be beneficial, particularly in areas related to human resources, communications, or social sciences.

Languages:
