Job Overview:
The primary mission of the position is to ensure the coordination of ACF's interventions and the implementation of activities related to the response to the Ebola virus disease (EVD) in the designated intervention area. A proven track record in project development and significant experience in base coordination and high-responsibility positions is essential. Candidates should also have experience in security management in volatile environments, particularly in areas affected by epidemics such as Ebola. Strong contextual analysis skills (security, humanitarian) are required, and prior experience with ACF is considered an advantage.
Educational Background:
A higher education degree (Bac + 4/5) in relevant fields such as business administration, political science, or other disciplines related to ACF's mission is required. This educational background should provide the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to effectively manage humanitarian programs and coordinate interventions in complex environments.
Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of several years of relevant experience in project management and coordination roles within humanitarian contexts. Experience in managing teams and working in high-pressure environments, particularly in regions affected by conflict or health crises, is crucial. Familiarity with the specific challenges of working in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and previous experience with ACF or similar organizations will be highly regarded.
Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, as it is the primary language of communication within the organization and in the region. Proficiency in English is also desirable, as it may facilitate communication with international partners and stakeholders. - The gross monthly salary ranges from 2,597 to 2,968 euros, depending on experience, and includes a 13th-month salary. Non-French citizens will receive a retirement insurance reimbursement of 16% of their gross monthly salary. There is a 6% salary increase every 12 months of continuous contract. Monthly per diem and living expenses amount to 1,105 USD net, paid on the ground, along with a monthly contextual allowance of 450 euros. An annual child allowance of 1,500 euros per child is provided, with a maximum of 6,000 euros per year. Transportation and accommodation are covered, with collective housing arrangements. Medical coverage includes 100% reimbursement of health insurance contributions and medical expenses, extending up to one month after the end of the contract. Salary maintenance provisions are in place for illness, maternity, and paternity. Employees are entitled to 25 days of annual leave and 20 rest and recuperation days per year, with travel expenses covered for breaks.
