Job Overview:
The Senior Advisor will play a crucial role in providing strategic and technical advice to support the implementation of sustainable solutions for malaria commodities. This position requires collaboration with the RBM coordinator" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Technical Coordinator and other colleagues, as well as engagement with governments, regional institutions, and strategic partners. The advisor will focus on enhancing global, regional, and national coordination, market shaping, and improving country readiness for malaria commodities. The role is designed to help countries and partners accelerate equitable and sustainable access to malaria commodities, ensuring that the necessary frameworks and strategies are in place for effective implementation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Advisor will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including:
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible professional experience in global health, health commodities, market shaping, or related fields. They should have demonstrated experience providing strategic technical advice within international health programs and supporting complex multi-partner initiatives. Familiarity with malaria commodity markets and experience working with governments and international partners are essential. Strong analytical, facilitation, coordination, and communication skills are also required, along with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
Educational Background:
An advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Public Health, Medicine, Pharmacy, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Business Administration, International Development, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Additional professional training or certification in relevant fields such as health economics, market shaping, or supply chain management is desired.
Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with a focus on global health and health commodities. Candidates should have a proven track record of providing strategic technical advice and supporting the implementation of health programs. Experience in working with governments, regional institutions, and international partners is crucial, as is familiarity with malaria commodities and related initiatives.
Languages:
Fluency in English is required, while basic proficiency in French is desirable. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively in both languages, with a strong emphasis on English for technical discussions and documentation.

- Contributing to program reporting, knowledge management, and documentation of lessons learned.
- Engaging with diverse stakeholders to facilitate technical collaboration and coordinated efforts.
