Duties and Responsibilities:

The consultant will draft a proposal for the structure and index of the guide, which will include conceptual, methodological, and project proposal sections. The consultant will also incorporate feedback from UNESCO into the final version of the guide, which must be delivered in an editable format ready for publication. The deliverables include a work plan, a first draft of the guide, and the validated final guide.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree (specialization, master's, or equivalent) in Education, Social Sciences, Pedagogy, or related fields. They should demonstrate a strong command of the Spanish language, both orally and in writing. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of ten years of professional experience in developing educational resources and materials, particularly within the STEAM education framework. Knowledge and experience in designing pedagogical resources and teaching guides for various educational levels, particularly in Central America, are essential. Familiarity with STEAM initiatives and project-based learning methodologies, as well as experience working with UN agencies or international cooperation in educational matters, are also required.
