Job Overview:
The Digital Communications and Social Media Support position at UN Women involves assisting the Communications team in creating engaging digital and social media content in both Arabic and English. The role is crucial for promoting gender equality and highlighting the experiences and leadership of Palestinian women and girls. The volunteer will be responsible for developing various types of content, including Reels, short videos, and carousels, to enhance audience engagement and reach. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities for this position include supporting the development of social media content in Arabic and English, drafting and editing captions and short social media copy, and adapting content for various platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube. The volunteer will follow social media trends and suggest creative formats suitable for UN Women’s content. Additionally, the role involves developing Reels, short videos, carousels, and quote cards, as well as assisting in reviewing social media performance to identify successful content and formats. The volunteer will also contribute to broader communications and advocacy campaigns, ensuring that the messaging aligns with UN Women’s goals and objectives.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates for this position should possess strong writing and editing skills in both Arabic and English, with a keen understanding of social media dynamics. Educational Background:

Experience:
While prior experience in digital communications or social media management is beneficial, it is not strictly required.
