Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement programs related to reproductive health and rights in collaboration with local partners.
  • Conduct research and analysis on population trends and reproductive health issues.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote awareness and understanding of reproductive health issues.
  • Provide technical assistance and capacity building to local organizations and government agencies.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Represent UNFPA at meetings, conferences, and workshops.
  • Collaborate with other UN agencies and organizations to enhance program impact.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of reproductive health and rights issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and program evaluation.

Educational Background:
A master's degree in public health, social sciences, or a related field is required. Additional certifications in reproductive health or program management are a plus.

Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in program development and implementation, particularly in the field of reproductive health and rights. Experience working with international organizations or NGOs is highly desirable.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Japanese or other languages spoken in the region is an advantage.

Additional Notes:
This position is full-time and may involve travel within Japan and to other countries in the region. The contract duration is subject to funding availability and organizational needs.
