Job Overview:
The position of Responsable Support Outils Logistiques is a recent addition to Action contre la Faim, playing a crucial role in enhancing the tools and logistics information system (SI LOG). This role is part of the headquarters team while maintaining a strong connection with field operations due to its on-ground presence. The position offers the opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge across all areas of humanitarian logistics through user support, deployment of new tools and information systems, and the design and facilitation of training sessions in the field. The role is designed to support multiple African countries, including Liberia, Sierra Leone, Mozambique, Côte d'Ivoire, Madagascar, and Burkina Faso, providing both remote and on-site assistance to ensure effective use of logistics tools and systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Responsable Support Outils Logistiques include:
  • Providing functional support on logistics tools and information systems to users across various Country Offices.
  • Conducting training sessions for teams on logistics tools and information systems.
  • Analyzing the usage of tools and systems to optimize reporting and functionality.
  • Collaborating with focal points and logistics department heads to establish communication modalities and a working framework.
  • Collecting support and training needs from teams and adjusting deployment and training schedules accordingly.
  • Ensuring that all user interactions are documented and that feedback is used to improve tools and training materials.
  • Maintaining a high level of organization and analytical skills to work effectively in a volatile context.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a background in humanitarian logistics and/or supply chain management, with a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role. Previous experience with Action contre la Faim is required. Proficiency in both French and English, both spoken and written, is essential. Candidates should also be skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite and LINK, and be familiar with ACF's logistics tools and information systems. Experience in creating educational materials and facilitating training sessions, both in-person and remotely, is highly desirable. Strong organizational, analytical, and rigorous work habits are necessary to thrive in this position.

Educational Background:
A degree in humanitarian logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is required for this position. Candidates should have a solid understanding of logistics principles and practices, particularly in the context of humanitarian operations.

Experience:
A minimum of three years of relevant experience in logistics support roles, particularly within humanitarian organizations, is required. Experience working in diverse and challenging environments is preferred, as is familiarity with the operational context of ACF.

Languages:
Fluency in French and English is mandatory, both orally and in writing. Additional language skills may be considered an asset but are not required.

Additional Notes:
The position is based in Côte d'Ivoire, and candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country at the time of hiring. The offered salary will be based on the organization's salary scale, along with a 13th-month bonus and a monthly transportation allowance. Health insurance is provided for up to six individuals. The organization has a telework policy allowing for two days of remote work per week, capped at seven days per month, subject to specific conditions. The contract is for a duration of 12 months starting from July 1, 2026, with the possibility of renewal. The role may require national and regional travel.
