Job Overview:
The Quality Control Officer plays a crucial role in managing the Quality Improvement Plans for RI’s supported Primary Health Care Centers (PHCC) in Beirut, Bekaa, and North Lebanon. This position is vital for ensuring that the quality of services provided at these centers meets established standards and aligns with RI's mission to support primary and secondary health care for communities. The officer will work closely with PHCC staff to develop and implement quality improvement strategies, monitor adherence to quality indicators, and ensure compliance with national health standards. The role requires a high level of independence, problem-solving skills, and effective communication to facilitate collaboration among health care teams and stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: developing Quality Improvement Plans tailored to the specific needs of each PHCC, improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in alignment with the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) standards, and ensuring accurate documentation for project implementation. The officer will identify and escalate patient safety incidents and quality gaps, ensuring timely corrective actions are taken. Regular monitoring of PHCCs will be conducted to ensure adherence to infection prevention and control standards, hygiene practices, and patient flow management. The officer will also evaluate patient satisfaction survey results, address complaints, and provide recommendations for improvements. Additionally, the officer will prepare regular quality-monitoring reports, coordinate with various departments, and participate in assessing new health facilities for potential support.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Public Health, or a related health field. A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, particularly within the primary health care system in Lebanon. Knowledge of accreditation and quality standards applicable to Lebanon is essential. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to establish confidential relationships with PHC coordinators and physicians, represent RI effectively in meetings, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good report writing skills are also necessary. A valid driving license is mandatory for this position.

Educational Background:
The educational requirement for this position is a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Public Health, or a related health field. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of health care delivery and quality management within the context of Lebanon's health system.

Experience:
The position requires at least two years of related experience, particularly in the primary health care sector. Candidates should have a solid understanding of the health care landscape in Lebanon, including familiarity with quality standards and accreditation processes relevant to the region.

Languages:
Fluency in spoken and written Arabic is mandatory, along with working proficiency in English. These language skills are essential for effective communication with PHCC staff, stakeholders, and in reporting.

This position is part-time and is focused on national recruitment within Lebanon.
