Duties and Responsibilities:

Additionally, the role involves supporting workstreams related to Paris Alignment, climate co-benefits, and sustainable finance, under the guidance of senior colleagues. The analyst will also be responsible for GHG accounting and climate outcomes metrics, which includes collecting, cleaning, validating, and analyzing data, as well as documenting assumptions and results. Preparing briefs, presentations, reports, and training materials for both internal and external audiences is a key responsibility. The analyst will also support the development of practical tools, dashboards, and data systems, ensuring quality control and user support. Project management tasks such as work planning, portfolio monitoring, and stakeholder follow-up will also be part of the role, requiring collaboration across various teams and functions within the World Bank Group.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Operations Analyst position must possess a Master’s degree in finance, economics, business, public policy, international development, engineering, data analytics, environmental science, or a related field. A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience is required, along with a demonstrated interest in climate, development, or sustainable finance. Familiarity with areas such as Paris Alignment, climate finance, and GHG accounting is desirable. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work with both qualitative and quantitative information.
