Duties and Responsibilities: The Roving Finance & HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the administration, finance, and HR functions at the bases. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with SI procedures and donor requirements, managing payroll processes, recruitment follow-up, and staff support. The manager will also be tasked with building the capacities of support staff, promoting accountability and teamwork, and contributing to budget follow-up and cost-control measures. In the first few months, the manager will focus on strengthening monitoring measures related to fuel shortages and cash availability, reviewing existing base templates, and updating key support tools to ensure compliance with SI procedures. Additionally, the manager will need to navigate security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security constraints and maintain preparedness for potential relocations or security incidents.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a master’s degree or equivalent field experience in Business Administration, Accounting, Project Management, or a related field. A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the humanitarian sector and in a similar position is required. Candidates should have strong knowledge of finance and HR procedures, particularly those of SI, and experience with administrative management in humanitarian contexts. Technical skills in finance and HR, as well as the ability to work under pressure in challenging environments, are essential.
