Duties and Responsibilities: Interns will assist in integrating AI services into investigative processes, support the development of AI and machine learning models, and contribute to coding and scripting tasks to automate workflows. They will design automation processes using Microsoft Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps, support API integration for seamless connectivity between software applications, and assist in developing projects utilizing Microsoft Azure services for AI model deployment. Additionally, interns will participate in data analysis, generate insights from AI model outputs, document development processes, and build mapping and processing workflows to improve operational efficiency. Other related duties may be assigned as required.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (having completed at least two years) or a graduate program, or be a recent graduate (within six months prior to application). They should have attended classes in the last 12 months at a recognized university. Excellent written and spoken English is required, with proficiency at level C. A working knowledge of another official UN language (such as French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Portuguese) is considered an asset. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to WFP's values and mission, showcasing their ability to work in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this internship includes enrollment in a recognized university program, either at the undergraduate or graduate level. Candidates must have completed at least two years of their undergraduate studies or be enrolled in a graduate program. The educational institution must be recognized by competent international or national authorities, ensuring that the qualifications are valid and credible.

Additional Notes: This internship is a remote position with a duration of four months, expected to start on 15 September. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of up to US$1,000, depending on the duty station of assignment. WFP does not cover living expenses, accommodation arrangements, or visa costs. However, travel tickets may be reimbursed for candidates who are nationals of developing countries studying in their home country.
