Job Overview:
As Chief of Party I, you will be responsible for providing leadership and overall management of a multi-country project in Liberia, funded by the Department of State. This project aims to deliver integrated health services, including HIV, tuberculosis, maternal and child health, malaria, and nutrition, through strengthened community and facility-based health worker networks. Your role will involve ensuring effective systems and processes are in place to support the project's strategic objectives and advance CRS's mission of serving the poor and vulnerable. You will be accountable for day-to-day project leadership, ensuring donor compliance, managing subawards, and coordinating effectively with consortium partners and stakeholders. Additionally, you will proactively manage security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security and mitigate risks associated with the project. Your leadership and technical expertise will be crucial in delivering high-quality programming and enhancing CRS's position as a leading agency in the health sector.

Required Qualifications:
Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, international development, or international relations is required. A Master’s or Doctorate Degree in public health or a related field is preferred, indicating a higher level of expertise and leadership in the sector.
Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 8 years of relevant management and health technical experience, with at least 5 years managing donor funds, including multi-country grants. Additionally, a minimum of 2 years of experience managing staff is necessary, along with a demonstrated ability to foster a learning environment and coach senior program staff.
Languages:
Fluent English is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset but is not explicitly required.
Additional Notes:
The position is full-time and involves supervisory responsibilities. Candidates must be willing to travel up to 25% to remote low-resource locations. - Relationship Management: Act as the lead relationship manager and representative with all in-country stakeholders, maintaining strong coordination and engagement with partners and stakeholders while applying CRS partnership principles.
- Project Management: Lead the development, implementation, and consolidation of the project, providing management, guidance, and technical oversight throughout the project cycle. Ensure project design, start-up, implementation, and close-out align with CRS quality principles, donor guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Supervision: Oversee staffing plans and recruitment processes for senior staff, manage team dynamics, and ensure staff well-being through coaching and mentoring.
- Program Quality: Oversee technical assistance and capacity strengthening activities for staff and partner organizations to enhance program quality and impact.
- Program Learning: Support program learning and contribute to documenting lessons learned and project outputs.
- Stewardship: Promote efficient use of agency and donor resources, ensuring compliance with awards, financial tracking, and oversight of partner budgets.
- Communications: Lead the development of communication strategies and materials, ensuring compliance with donor and CRS branding requirements.
Required Qualifications:
