Job Overview:
The NATO Staff Assistant - Graphics Technician position is integral to the Base Support Group (BSG) at JSEC, responsible for implementing photographic and graphic arts programs, as well as operating printing and reproduction services. The incumbent will design, coordinate, and elaborate forms and publications, providing reprographics support to the Command. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical skills to develop visual content that effectively communicates complex information. The successful candidate will also maintain an archive of graphic materials and collaborate with local suppliers and NATO Brand Hub to ensure consistency in communications. The position demands a proactive approach to managing graphics files and supporting daily activities related to graphic creation and software-graphics equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the NATO Staff Assistant - Graphics Technician include:

• Implementing photographic and graphic arts programs and managing printing and reproduction services.
• Designing, coordinating, and elaborating forms and publications while providing reprographics support to the Command.
• Controlling, managing, and storing graphics files efficiently.
• Combining expertise and creativity to develop pictures and decorations for graphics arts production.
• Supporting personnel in daily activities related to graphic creation and software-graphics equipment.
• Maintaining contact with local companies and suppliers of printing services.
• Assessing new products and making recommendations for the purchase of new items, materials, and equipment, with adequate knowledge of the host nation’s language.
• Undertaking work as part of project teams or working groups as directed.
• Distilling complex information into visual presentations, such as information graphics. 1
• Coordinating with NATO Brand Hub to integrate JSEC products into wider NATO communications. 1
• Maintaining an archive of current and past logos, infographics, and other graphic materials for future use. 1

Required Qualifications:

Additional Notes:
The contract for this position will be offered in accordance with NATO Civilian Personnel Regulations. Newly recruited staff will typically receive a three-year contract, which may be extended to an indefinite duration based on satisfactory performance. The salary is tax-free and may include expatriation, family, and children's allowances, along with additional benefits such as an education allowance for children and a comprehensive private health insurance scheme.
