Job Overview:
The Logistics Technical Assistant position at NRC is designed to support the daily implementation of logistics functions within the organization. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Logistics Technical Assistant will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including but not limited to: assisting in the preparation and monitoring of procurement files; regularly updating the purchase tracker; ensuring compliance with procurement procedures and contract execution; maintaining a supplier database and conducting market analysis; overseeing the archiving of logistics documents in accordance with NRC standards; collaborating with the HR and administration department to provide necessary supplies and equipment; supervising and managing the work of service providers at the office and guest houses; preparing certificates of good execution for work done; organizing transport documentation; supervising loading and unloading of goods; submitting assigned reports according to the established schedule; ensuring proper management of assets and inventory; tracking vehicle and generator fleets; managing stock under responsibility; and preparing monthly logistics reports covering stock, vehicle fleet, asset tracking, and procurement follow-up. The assistant may also be tasked with additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Logistics Technical Assistant position should possess a minimum of a Bac+2 level education in Logistics or a related field. A diploma or relevant qualification in procurement and logistics is considered an asset. Candidates should have at least two years of professional experience in logistics, preferably within an international non-governmental organization. Experience in complex and unstable contexts is essential, along with proven results in fulfilling the responsibilities of the position. Candidates should demonstrate experience in managing procurement processes, document management, and overseeing vehicles, stocks, and assets. Proficiency in French is mandatory, while knowledge of English is an asset.
