Job Overview:
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Facilitator will play a crucial role in organizing and delivering the eTrade for Women Pitch Day at the IIC Prabhav Conference. This event is designed to showcase a selected cohort of eight advanced women digital entrepreneurs from South Asia. The facilitator will be responsible for coordinating with conference organizers, securing a panel of mentors and investors, and ensuring that the pitch session runs smoothly. This position requires a strong understanding of entrepreneurship and the digital ecosystem, as well as the ability to provide substantive feedback and facilitate networking opportunities for the participating entrepreneurs. The facilitator will also support the entrepreneurs in their final pitch preparations, ensuring they are well-prepared to present their ideas effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Facilitator include:
  • Coordinating with conference organizers to finalize arrangements for the eTrade for Women pitch session.
  • Identifying and securing a panel of mentors, investors, and ecosystem experts to evaluate the participating entrepreneurs and provide structured feedback during their pitching exercises.
  • Liaising with conference organizers and panel members prior to the event to ensure smooth coordination and alignment on the objectives and format of the Pitch Day.
  • Supporting participating entrepreneurs in the final stages of their pitch preparation, including reviewing presentation materials and conducting rehearsal sessions as needed.
  • Co-facilitating the Pitch Day and ensuring the smooth implementation of the pitching session.
  • Contributing substantive expertise throughout the event by providing feedback, moderating discussions, and supporting knowledge exchange.
  • Facilitating introductions and networking opportunities between participating entrepreneurs and relevant investors, mentors, and strategic partners attending the conference to encourage follow-up engagement beyond the event.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for this position include an advanced university degree (Masters) in a relevant field such as economic development, entrepreneurship, business administration, or a related area. Additionally, candidates must have at least seven years of work experience in entrepreneurship, finance, or marketing. A well-established network of investors, venture capital firms, and key industry experts across the South Asian region is essential to facilitate meaningful connections and ensure effective investor engagement during the program. Knowledge of the digital-SMEs ecosystem in developing countries and gender-lens investment is desirable but not mandatory.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree, specifically a Master's degree, in a relevant field that pertains to economic development, entrepreneurship, business administration, or any other related area. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of the entrepreneurial landscape and the specific challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in the digital space.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of seven years of relevant work experience in fields such as entrepreneurship, finance, or marketing.
