Job Overview:
The Project Supervisor, under the supervision of the Project Manager, plays a crucial role in implementing HI's mandate by leading the execution of physical and functional rehabilitation activities, mental health and psychosocial-support" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">psychosocial support (SMAPS), and inclusive health services in their intervention area. This position ensures the technical quality of services, effective coordination with health establishments and stakeholders, and the efficient management of a multidisciplinary team. The supervisor is responsible for meeting project objectives while promoting a person-centered and inclusive approach in line with HI's technical standards and health sector guidelines. The role involves close collaboration with the technical program team and includes training, support, and guidance for rehabilitation professionals such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and psychologists.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Supervisor's responsibilities include providing technical guidance and support to projects according to sectoral frameworks and standards, ensuring project activities are implemented according to internal quality standards, adapting project documentation as necessary, contributing to regular reporting on team activities, coordinating with project partners, supervising the implementation of rehabilitation and health activities, ensuring quality care from the multidisciplinary team, identifying technical needs, and proposing adjustments for project improvement. The supervisor will also manage the team of rehabilitation professionals, organize activity distribution, provide ongoing technical support and mentorship, conduct regular follow-up meetings, participate in staff induction and performance evaluations, promote a collaborative work environment, and contribute to team recruitment. Additionally, the supervisor will plan weekly and monthly activities, monitor project goals and indicators, prepare technical reports, and ensure the collection of data for research activities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a university degree in Sociology, Public Health, Social Work, or related fields in social sciences, humanities, or health sciences. A postgraduate degree in project management, public health, humanitarian action, or related fields is desirable. Applicants should have at least two years of experience managing social projects supporting vulnerable populations, proven experience working with NGOs or cooperation agencies, preferably in emergency projects, and experience supervising and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of risk management, inclusive care models, and experience in rehabilitation, SMAPS, and emergency responses is also preferred. Fluency in Spanish with excellent writing skills for technical and clinical reports is mandatory, while knowledge of English at a B1 level is desirable. Familiarity with international architecture and coordination with health and protection clusters is a plus, along with proficiency in office software and data collection platforms.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a university degree in relevant fields such as Sociology, Public Health, Social Work, or other related disciplines. A postgraduate degree in project management, public health, humanitarian action, or similar areas is considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's qualifications for the role.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in managing social projects, particularly those that involve working with vulnerable populations. Candidates should have demonstrable experience in supervising and coordinating multidisciplinary teams, as well as a background in emergency response and collaboration with international and local partners. Experience in risk management and knowledge of inclusive care models for diverse populations is also essential.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, with excellent writing skills for technical and clinical reports. Knowledge of English at a B1 level is desirable, which would enhance communication and collaboration in international contexts. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively in both languages, especially in technical settings.

The contract type is professional fees, with a duration of 6 months, subject to the approval and availability of project funds. There are 2 vacancies available for this position, which is based in Puerto Cabello but requires availability to travel to La Guaira, Miranda, Distrito Capital, Yaracuy, Carabobo, Aragua, and Falcón as needed.
