Job Overview:
The Research Analyst position at UN-ESCWA is designed to assist in the vetting of Machine Learning models, ensuring their accuracy through human intervention. The role involves translating documents and building project proposals, contributing to the organization's Future of Work initiative. Duties and Responsibilities:
The individual contractor will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:

• Assisting in the verification of the accuracy of Machine Learning models in capturing occupation classifications.
• Checking the accuracy of skills associated with various ISCO jobs.
• Evaluating how regular expression (Reg-X) models are identifying different features from text data.
• Conducting data analysis using information from the ESCWA Skills Monitor to inform decision-making.
• Supporting the organization of meetings, workshops, and mission preparations, including various administrative tasks.
• Engaging in ad hoc activities related to labor market policies and private sector development, ensuring that the organization remains responsive to emerging trends and challenges in the job market.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma, and all applicants are required to submit a copy of their educational qualifications. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Additionally, a minimum of 2 years of experience in data manipulation, data analysis, presentation, drafting, and data visualization is essential. Proven experience in teamwork and collaboration is also required, along with familiarity with Microsoft Suite, which is crucial for performing the job effectively.

Educational Background:
The minimum educational requirement for this position is a High School Diploma. Candidates must provide documentation of their educational qualifications as part of the application process. Experience:
