Job Overview: The Partnership and Communications Consultant will play a crucial role in enhancing UNFPA Lebanon's visibility and partnership engagement through strategic communication and resource generation. This part-time position, lasting for six months, requires the consultant to develop and execute communication strategies that effectively articulate UNFPA's mission and impact. The consultant will be responsible for managing the communication and visibility plan for the Mustaqbali Khayari Joint Programme, which is a collaborative initiative with UNICEF funded by the Embassy of Sweden. The consultant will engage with various stakeholders, including adolescent girls, to co-create branding and visibility materials that resonate with the target audience. Additionally, the consultant will produce multimedia content, including social media posts and human interest stories, to highlight the impact of UNFPA's work. The role also involves monitoring and reporting on communication efforts, ensuring compliance with donor branding guidelines, and supporting donor engagement initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant's duties will include executing the communication and visibility plan for the Mustaqbali Khayari Joint Programme, which involves leading branding workshops, coordinating the design and dissemination of visibility materials, and producing high-engagement social media content. The consultant will also be responsible for creating impactful storytelling through multimedia, including videos and written stories that showcase the outcomes of UNFPA's initiatives. Furthermore, the consultant will manage ongoing visibility for UNFPA Lebanon's communication strategies, ensuring adherence to branding guidelines across various facilities. Weekly audiovisual posts will be produced to maintain consistent engagement with stakeholders. The consultant will conduct branding audits, support documentation of humanitarian responses, and prepare advocacy materials for donor meetings. Organizing donor events and field visits will also be part of the consultant's responsibilities, along with drafting proposals and investment cases for UNFPA's core priorities.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field. A minimum of four years of experience in impactful communications, multimedia storytelling, and social media management is required. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience working with humanitarian and development donors, adhering to strict branding guidelines. A proven track record in video production, photojournalism, and writing human-interest stories is essential. Experience in conducting field visits and ethically collecting content from vulnerable populations, including survivors of gender-based violence and refugees, is also necessary.

Additional Notes: The position is part-time, requiring the consultant to work for six months, with an expected commitment of 16 days per month. All deliverables will be submitted in electronic format, and payments will be made in three tranches based on the completion of key milestones.
