Job Overview: The position of WHO Report Developer/Data Analyst is integral to the Meeting and Travel Services (MTS) initiative, which aims to enhance the efficiency of meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and expense management within the organization. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining reports for the newly implemented WHO Meeting and Travel systems. This role requires a strong focus on technical writing, knowledge management, and training to support the effective functioning of the MTS. The successful candidate will design, develop, and automate reports using various tools, analyze data to identify trends, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that reporting requirements are met. The position also involves presenting findings in a clear manner to aid decision-making and ensuring data accuracy and integrity across reporting systems.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the WHO Report Developer/Data Analyst include:
Designing, developing, and automating reports using tools such as Cognos, Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data to identify trends and generate actionable insights.
Collaborating with stakeholders to understand and define reporting requirements.
Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security across reporting systems.
Presenting findings in clear and actionable formats to support decision-making.
Developing and maintaining dashboards and standardized reports.
Troubleshooting, optimizing, and enhancing existing reports and reporting processes.

Training end-users on the use of reports and dashboards.

Additional Notes: This is a national UN Volunteer assignment based in Tunisia. The contract duration is for a specified period, with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding availability.
