Job Overview:
The Partnerships Officer - Liaison will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations. This position requires a proactive approach to identify partnership opportunities that align with the organization's goals. The officer will be responsible for coordinating partnership activities, facilitating communication between partners, and ensuring that collaborative efforts are effectively implemented. The role also involves monitoring and evaluating partnership outcomes to ensure they meet the organization's objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of partnership dynamics and be able to navigate complex environments to foster collaboration.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement partnership strategies that align with the organization's mission and objectives.
  • Identify potential partners and assess their alignment with the organization's goals.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between partners to enhance project outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate partnership activities to ensure effectiveness and sustainability.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on partnership progress and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organize and participate in meetings, workshops, and events to promote partnerships.
  • Provide support and guidance to partners in project implementation and capacity building.
  • Stay informed about trends and developments in the partnership landscape to identify new opportunities.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data related to partnership performance.
  • Proficiency in using digital communication tools and platforms for partnership management.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in social sciences, international relations, development studies, or a related field is required. A master's degree is preferred and may be considered an asset for this position.

Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in partnership development, stakeholder engagement, or project management is required. Experience working in an international organization or NGO is highly desirable.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in additional languages, particularly local languages, is considered an asset and may enhance communication with partners.

This position is classified as an Associate level role under the ICS 08 level. The contract type is ICA - LICA - Specialist - Regular, with an open-ended duration.
