Job Overview: The ICLA Digital TransformationCoordinator will play a pivotal role in transforming the way NRC delivers legal aid services through the development and implementation of digital solutions. This position is crucial in managing and enhancing the existing digital platform, known as DaliLy, which provides legal information to displaced populations in Libya. The coordinator will work closely with technical team members and legal consultants to ensure the platform is effectively updated and developed. The role involves supporting the design, piloting, and rollout of digital solutions, ensuring that the services provided are timely, accurate, and accessible. The coordinator will also be responsible for documenting learning from field teams and users to continuously improve NRC's approach to digitalization in legal aid services.
Duties and Responsibilities: The ICLA Digital Transformation Coordinator will oversee various responsibilities, including:
Leading the implementation and further development of the DaliLy platform, ensuring it meets the needs of users and stakeholders.
Coordinating with NRC staff at all levels to facilitate participation and gather continuous feedback on digital initiatives.
Managing the legal content for the digital platform, ensuring it is up-to-date and relevant.
Supporting the transition from the current ICLA database to a more effective legal case management platform.
Organizing training sessions for ICLA staff and users to enhance their skills in utilizing digital tools.
Developing marketing strategies for promoting the DaliLy platform.
Ensuring compliance with NRC policies, particularly regarding data protection and safe programming.
Reporting on the progress of digital initiatives and collaborating with global advisers to align with organizational policies.
Identifying collaboration opportunities with other humanitarian actors and representing NRC in relevant forums.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a university degree in Information Technology, Marketing, Digital Communications, or a related field. Proven experience in managing digital communication, marketing, or engagement projects in complex environments is essential. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital engagement tools is required. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to design and deliver multimedia content, such as videos and infographics, and lead digital marketing campaigns. Knowledge of monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes is also necessary. Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory, along with a strong understanding of the Libyan context and humanitarian or legal aid programs. Experience working with international NGOs is considered an asset.
Educational Background: A university degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Marketing, Digital Communications, or a related discipline is required for this position. This educational background will provide the necessary foundation for understanding the complexities of digital transformation in humanitarian contexts and the skills needed to manage digital platforms effectively.
Experience: Candidates should have substantial experience in managing digital communication and engagement projects, particularly in challenging and complex contexts. Previous experience working with content management systems and digital engagement tools is crucial. Familiarity with humanitarian or legal aid programs, especially in the Libyan context, will be advantageous. Experience in international NGOs and knowledge of cloud and SaaS solutions, such as CRM systems, will enhance a candidate's suitability for this role.
