Job Overview:
The position of Coordinador de Soporte is crucial for ensuring that the support functions within the organization, including Human Resources, Logistics, Administration, ICT, and Finance, operate effectively. The primary goal of this role is to lead and manage these support functions in a manner that is efficient, contextually adapted, and aligned with the organization's operational standards and procedures. The coordinator will work closely with area management to develop, manage, and monitor operational activities, ensuring that they facilitate the implementation of programmatic activities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to prepare reports that inform management decisions. The coordinator will also be responsible for promoting technical improvements within support functions and ensuring that capacity-building initiatives are in place for support staff and implementing partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Coordinador de Soporte include managing and supervising support staff across Finance, Human Resources, Administration, Logistics, and ICT. The coordinator must ensure compliance with NRC policies, guidelines, and legal requirements, as well as donor and auditor expectations. Specific responsibilities include overseeing support unit processes throughout the project management cycle, implementing internal control procedures, coordinating operational plans with program areas, and contributing to the development of Standard Operating Procedures as requested by management. The coordinator will also prepare internal and external reports as required, ensure high standards in human resources processes, and support area management in analyzing and preparing for the opening, modification, or closure of offices within the area.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the position should possess a professional degree at the undergraduate or graduate level in fields such as business administration, economics, or international relations. They must have experience in financial coordination within humanitarian contexts and demonstrate the ability to work in complex and volatile environments. Fluency in both verbal and written English is desirable. Additionally, candidates should have at least three years of experience in financial management, human resources, administration, and logistics within humanitarian settings, along with solid knowledge of labor, civil, and tax law. Experience in managing donor relations and budgets, as well as proficiency in MS Office and accounting/logistics systems, is essential.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a professional degree in business administration, economics, international relations, or a related field. Advanced degrees or specialized training in relevant areas will be considered an asset. Candidates should have a strong understanding of the principles of humanitarian aid and the operational standards that govern such work.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of three years of relevant experience in financial management, human resources, administration, and logistics, particularly in humanitarian contexts. Candidates should have a proven track record of managing resources effectively and navigating complex project cycles. Experience in working with donors and understanding compliance requirements is also essential.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, and proficiency in English is highly desirable. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an advantage, particularly in regions where NRC operates.

Additional Notes:
The contract for this position is a fixed-term contract for approximately six months, in accordance with Colombian labor legislation, with monthly payments based on NRC's salary scale. The position will initially be based in Cúcuta until December 2026, with the possibility of relocation to Ocaña for extensions in 202
