Job Overview: The Program Analyst position within the World Bank Group’s Ethics and Internal Justice Services Vice Presidency (EIJ) is crucial for supporting the Anti-Harassment and Anti-Discrimination Unit (AHAD). The role involves conducting data analysis and managing case-related information to help uphold the organization's ethical standards and foster a values-based workplace culture. The Program Analyst will be responsible for performing statistical and qualitative analyses, compiling data from the Case Management System (CMS), and generating reports that monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the AHAD. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize findings into actionable insights that can inform management decisions and improve workplace practices.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Program Analyst will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including:
Performing statistical and qualitative analysis by retrieving information from the Case Management System (CMS) for various reporting needs, including weekly, monthly, and annual reports, as well as ad hoc queries.
Creating customized reports that include visual representations such as charts and graphs to effectively communicate analytical data.
Conducting confidentiality-sensitive analysis of discrimination-claim data to identify trends and systemic issues, and synthesizing these findings into actionable insights for management.
Serving as a backup for receiving requests for consultations and allegations related to harassment and discrimination, coordinating the assignment of cases, and liaising with clients and the EIJ Navigator.
Administering the CMS by inputting, maintaining, and updating case information.
Preparing written summaries of consultations that categorize issues and relevant information.
Assisting in the adaptation and distribution of outreach materials related to the AHAD work program.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Program Analyst position should possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, along with a Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A degree in statistics, econometrics, or data science is considered an advantage. Additionally, candidates should have experience in reviewing and analyzing HR/workforce data to support the assessment of discrimination claims. The ability to analyze and present data using tools such as AI, Excel, and Power BI is essential, as is a demonstrated ability to handle sensitive case data with strict confidentiality. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively are also required.
Educational Background: The educational background required for the Program Analyst position includes a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as statistics, data science, or a related discipline. A Paralegal certificate or equivalent educational experience is also acceptable. Candidates with advanced degrees or specialized training in data analysis or human resources may have an advantage in the selection process.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience. Candidates should have a proven track record in data analysis, particularly in the context of human resources or workplace ethics. Experience with case management systems and familiarity with handling sensitive data are critical for success in this role.
