Job Overview:
In this full-time, permanent role based in Shepparton, the Regional Manager will lead teams that deliver community-based early childhood and youth justice programs in the region. This position is crucial as it involves reporting to the Director of VIC, SA, TAS, and NSW, and being a key member of the leadership team in Victoria. The Regional Manager will oversee the delivery, quality assurance, evaluation, and reporting across a range of child, youth, and family programs, including a kindergarten. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing partnership, growth, and business development opportunities, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with government, community, and sector stakeholders. The Regional Manager will also be responsible for managing risks related to service delivery, quality, staff wellbeing, and child safeguarding, ensuring that the organization meets its objectives and achieves positive outcomes for children and young people.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Regional Manager include overseeing the delivery of various child, youth, and family programs, ensuring quality assurance and evaluation processes are in place. The manager will lead and support program teams through supervision, capability development, and performance management throughout the employee lifecycle. Proven experience in managing budgets and developing reports is also required, along with experience working with First Nations families and communities. The candidate should have a strong background in complex strategic planning, program management, and delivery, as well as experience in stakeholder management, including contract management. A current driver’s license is also necessary for this role.

Educational Background:
Candidates should possess a degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field. Alternatively, significant relevant experience in the field may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications. The educational background should provide a solid foundation for understanding the complexities of child and youth services, as well as the ability to engage effectively with families and communities.
