Duties and Responsibilities: The incumbent will perform a range of duties including:
Delivering services and transactions in specialized operational areas such as procurement, financial management, and human resources.
Ensuring compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations in service delivery.
Providing administrative support for organizing meetings, workshops, and training courses, including preparation of materials and logistics.
Reviewing and processing financial documents under Direct Financial Cooperation (DFC) and Direct Implementation (DI) modalities, including payment requests and contractual instruments.
Supporting human resources functions such as contract management, recruitment, onboarding, and staff briefings.
Assisting in the procurement of goods and services, managing purchase requisitions, and overseeing the tender/bidding process.
Identifying and implementing improvements in processes and procedures to enhance client service and operational effectiveness.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of relevant work experience in administrative support services, particularly in finance, human resources, and procurement. Essential qualifications include a strong understanding of WHO's operational procedures and practices. Desirable qualifications include training or certification in UN operational service areas or a university degree in Finance, Accounting, Administration, or related fields. Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, flexibility in adapting to competing priorities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Educational Background: The essential educational requirement for this position is the completion of secondary education.
