Job Overview: In this permanent, part-time position (0.8 FTE), the Operations Support Manager will be a key member of the Leadership team in Perth, working to create lasting change for children everywhere. The role involves managing key projects and initiatives that support both metro and regional teams, providing high-level support to the State Director and WA Leadership Team, and collaborating with various functional teams within the Save the Children group to enhance operational processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspiring leadership within a small administration team and ensuring compliance and risk management across the organization. Duties and Responsibilities: The Operations Support Manager will be responsible for managing key projects and initiatives that support both metro and regional teams. This includes providing high-level support to the State Director and WA Leadership Team, ensuring effective reporting internally and to funders. The role also involves collaborating with functional teams to strengthen operational processes such as project implementation planning, fleet management, property management, contract compliance reporting, and operational risk management. The manager will provide inspiring leadership to a small administration team, design effective processes in consultation with the Senior Management Team, and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Additionally, the manager will work with the state leadership team to identify, manage, monitor, and support responses to risks affecting program/service delivery, quality, staff well-being, and Child Safeguarding.
