Interns will be engaged in the production of daily news articles, in-depth features, and multimedia content specifically in Spanish. This role is designed for those who are passionate about journalism and communication, particularly in the context of global affairs. Interns will be expected to draft articles, translate materials, proofread content, and assist in various production tasks, thereby contributing to the UN's mission of informing the public about its work and initiatives. The internship is structured to provide hands-on experience in a professional newsroom setting, allowing interns to develop their skills in writing, research, and multimedia production while working closely with experienced professionals in the field.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Additionally, interns will review the partnerships database in collaboration with the UN Partnerships Unit to identify new digital media partners and trustworthy entities focused on fact-checking and media literacy. Other duties may be assigned as necessary, providing a comprehensive experience in the UN's communications efforts.
