The role involves conducting background research, contributing to the production of working documents, and assisting in the organization of meetings and events. The intern will gain valuable experience in humanitarian policy and reform, event management, and communication strategies within a dynamic international environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for supporting the Policy and Communications Technical Officer and the team in various areas, including:
  • Assisting in all phases of event planning for the Annual Meeting, including venue coordination, participant management, scheduling, travel and accommodation logistics, and on-site coordination.

  • Assisting in the preparation of donor reports and materials for grants in accordance with donor requirements.
  • Undertaking research and reviewing published reports on humanitarian financing and policy issues.
  • Providing general administrative support to the team as needed.
  • Carrying out procurement tasks as required.
