Job Overview:
The Assistant position is designed to provide comprehensive administrative support to staff members, ensuring the smooth operation of the office and facilitating effective communication and project preparation. The role encompasses a variety of tasks, including managing travel arrangements, providing secretarial assistance, and maintaining project documentation. The Assistant will be expected to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. This position is crucial for supporting the Bankers in their daily activities and ensuring that all administrative processes are executed efficiently. The Assistant will also play a key role in organizing meetings, workshops, and seminars, contributing to the overall success of the projects undertaken by the EBRD.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Assistant will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to: screening telephone calls and taking messages, providing a professional front-of-house service, acting as a receptionist five days a week, distributing mail, sending faxes, and ensuring correspondence reaches the appropriate EBRD staff member. The role includes managing the diaries of Bankers, proofreading and drafting routine business correspondence, organizing conference calls and meetings, and making travel arrangements, including visa preparations. The Assistant will also provide administrative support in project preparation and monitoring, maintain filing systems for easy retrieval of information, assist in the preparation of contract request forms, and communicate with the TC team. Additional responsibilities may include organizing workshops and seminars, preparing presentations, and handling ad-hoc secretarial tasks as required. The Assistant may also be involved in petty cash payments and coordinating visa or registration issues as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess higher education qualifications and demonstrate fluency in English, French, and Arabic, with excellent written and oral communication skills. Essential qualifications include prior secretarial and administrative experience, strong organizational skills, and a proactive and flexible attitude towards work. The ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and maintain effective communication with clients and colleagues in a multicultural environment is crucial. Attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and the capacity to build effective working relationships are also important. Candidates should be conscientious, reliable, and flexible, with a strong team player mentality and the ability to handle multiple assignments efficiently.

Educational Background:
