Job Overview:
The Online Volunteer position is focused on supporting the communications team of UNV by providing video editing services. Volunteers will be tasked with transforming raw footage, interviews, and archival material into engaging visual narratives that showcase the contributions of UN Volunteers across various regional and thematic portfolios. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Online Volunteers will be responsible for editing raw footage into high-quality videos suitable for various platforms including YouTube, X, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Specific duties include performing colour correction, incorporating motion graphics, and ensuring high-quality audio mixing. Volunteers will also need to add subtitles in multiple languages and branding elements according to UNV guidelines. Collaboration with communications focal points is essential to refine edits based on feedback and storytelling objectives. Additionally, volunteers must output videos in three different aspect ratios: 16:9 (1920x1080), 9:16 (1080x1920), and 4:5 (1080x1350). All productions must adhere to UNV's corporate identity and branding guidelines, which will be provided upon recruitment.
