Job Overview: The Sr. Manager for Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) is tasked with leading, optimizing, and governing the end-to-end HR business processes and system functionality across the agency. This role acts as a crucial link between Global People Resources (GPR), business stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring that HCM solutions are aligned with business objectives, compliance requirements, and operational efficiency goals. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background in Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, alongside a comprehensive understanding of Human Resources processes, system integrations, reporting, process improvement, and change management. The position requires a proactive approach to managing system capabilities and ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the Sr. Manager include owning and governing the end-to-end GPR business processes within Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, which encompasses process standardization, optimization, and continuous improvement. The manager will partner with GPR leadership, IT, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that system capabilities align with business needs. Acting as the functional and technical subject matter expert (SME) for various Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM modules such as Core HR, Talent Management, Recruiting, and Absence Management is essential. The role involves translating business requirements into functional specifications and collaborating with technical teams on system configuration, integrations, reporting, and enhancements. Additionally, the manager will lead system enhancement initiatives, testing cycles, defect resolution, and production support activities. They will drive release management activities, including impact assessments, regression testing, and the adoption of Oracle quarterly updates. Analyzing existing workflows to identify opportunities for automation, process simplification, and improved user experience is also a key duty.
